CAENG partnered with Rio Tinto to deliver a comprehensive bulk material handling solution tailored to meet the rigorous demands of their copper mining operations. The project entailed designing and installing a state-of-the-art bulk handling system capable of managing the high-volume, abrasive materials characteristic of Rio Tinto’s mining site.

Working closely with Rio Tinto’s engineering team, CAENG developed an integrated system that included heavy-duty conveyors, advanced feeders, and specialized transfer chutes. Each component was meticulously designed to withstand the site’s harsh conditions, minimize downtime, and facilitate seamless material flow. By implementing enhanced flow control measures, the team was able to significantly reduce material spillage and wear on equipment, which translated into longer maintenance intervals and lower operational costs.
